Barnstormer Winery – Officially Opened in Fall of 2013

After some heckling from my brother Adam, I knew it was time to get back on the blogging board. Barnstormer Winery has now been open since September, 2013 and we have had a great two months so far. I would like to personally thank all of the wonderful patrons and wine tasters who have taken the time to experience our newly renovated building and barn winery tasting room. Our 2012 wines have been very well received. All of our 2013 fruit has been harvested and our friends up at Glenora Wine Cellars helped us press and ferment the juice. Now the cellar work on the wine begins! Looks like 2013 is shaping up to be another great vintage for the Finger Lakes wine region.

We have quite a few people ask about the old Arcadian Estate Winery that was once located here and have enjoyed the changes to the building and wines at the new Barnstormer Winery.

Finger Lakes Cabernet Sauvignon – Barnstormer Winery

A snapshot of what we currently offer: 2012 Gewurztraminer and 2012 Semi-Dry Riesling along with a variety of semi-sweet white wines. Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon all round out the dry reds. We have an EXCELLENT Finger Lakes Cabernet Franc Ice Wine (2013 since it was harvested January 3rd, 2013 at 42 degree brix).

Join us for live music over the winter time as we plan on keeping the winery lively throughout the chillier months.

If you would like to host any Private Event at our Seneca Lake Winery location, visit our Events tab on the website.

We will be posting more often now that the busy season is slowly winding down!!

Cheers.
