SUMMARY:Winemaker Tour & Tasting Experience
DESCRIPTION:Barnstormer Winery: Winemaker Tour & Tasting Experience \nSaturdays at 11AM. May – September. \nTake a tour and taste with Marc Peterson\, Assistant Winemaker of Barnstormer Winery. These Saturday tours begin at 11AM and run approximately 1.5 hours. We will be capping these tours at 12 people total to keep the experience intimate. You may reserve as many spots as you would like\, or make the tour entirely private by booking all 12 spots for your group. We will be running these tours once a day each Saturday at 11AM from May until September with certain exceptions. \nThe first 30 minutes will be a tour of the facility\, wine production and newly planted estate vineyard (weather dependent) with a focus on our history\, wine production style and education about the past and future of the Finger Lakes Wine Region. You will taste two wines during this part of the tour. \nThe remainder of the tour will focus on tasting through a flight of five Barnstormer wines\, including limited releases and reserves that are usually only allocated to our Wine Clubs. Marc will personally guide you through each wine. This portion will include a shared “farmers” board of local cheeses and crackers to pair with the wines. \nCome join us on our new and educational Winemaker Tour & Tasting Experience. \n$24/pp + tax. We do require payment in advance. You may cancel up to two weeks prior for a full refund. Any cancellation within two weeks is a 50% refund. Any cancellation within 72 hours is not refunded.\nPlease arrive before 11AM. If you are late\, we will catch you up on the tour when you arrive.\nAll Wine Club Member’s get $5 off these tours ($19/pp + tax). Must be over 21 years of age. \nTo inquire about booking a private tour and tasting with Marc on another day\, please contact the winery for availability.\nWe focus on dry to off-dry\, white and red wines during these tours. A couple dessert wines will likely be included as well.
