Led by a WSET Level 2–certified Barnstormer team member\, this guided walking tour provides a thoughtful\, hands-on exploration of our estate vineyard and the decisions that shape each vintage. \nTours run every Friday beginning May 22nd\, with the final tour taking place on September 4th. The experience begins at our outdoor Hangar Bar\, where guests will be welcomed before heading into the vineyard with a knowledgeable winery team member. As you move through the vineyard blocks\, you’ll learn about grape varieties\, vine balance\, seasonal vineyard work\, and how site-specific factors like soil\, slope\, and climate influence the wines we produce here in the Finger Lakes. \nAlong the way\, you’ll taste seven Barnstormer wines\, including single-vineyard selections that highlight the direct connection between the vineyard and the glass. These guided tastings are designed to deepen your understanding of varietal expression\, vintage variation\, and Barnstormer’s approach to winemaking. \nLight bites and locally sourced tapas will be served during the tour to complement the wines and enhance the tasting experience. \nTo maintain an intimate\, educational environment\, tours are limited to 14 guests. Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged. Tours will run from 1PM – 3PM. The first hour will focus on the vineyard education\, sampling wines paired with light bites and tapas. Settle in for the second hour with a glass of wine\, continuing the discussion with our Barnstormer team member at our Hangar Bar. Led by a WSET Level 2–certified Barnstormer team member\, this guided walking tour provides a thoughtful\, hands-on exploration of our estate vineyard and the decisions that shape each vintage. \nTours run every Friday beginning May 22nd\, with the final tour taking place on September 4th. The experience begins at our outdoor Hangar Bar\, where guests will be welcomed before heading into the vineyard with a knowledgeable winery team member. As you move through the vineyard blocks\, you’ll learn about grape varieties\, vine balance\, seasonal vineyard work\, and how site-specific factors like soil\, slope\, and climate influence the wines we produce here in the Finger Lakes. \nAlong the way\, you’ll taste seven Barnstormer wines\, including single-vineyard selections that highlight the direct connection between the vineyard and the glass. These guided tastings are designed to deepen your understanding of varietal expression\, vintage variation\, and Barnstormer’s approach to winemaking. \nLight bites and locally sourced tapas will be served during the tour to complement the wines and enhance the tasting experience. \nTo maintain an intimate\, educational environment\, tours are limited to 14 guests. Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged. Tours will run from 1PM – 3PM. The first hour will focus on the vineyard education\, sampling wines paired with light bites and tapas. DESCRIPTION:Vineyard Tour: From Grape to Glass\nTake a step beyond the tasting room and experience Barnstormer from the ground up. \nOur Vineyard Tour invites guests into the heart of the Barnstormer Home Farm\, offering an in-depth look at how our wines are grown\, crafted\, and ultimately enjoyed. Led by a WSET Level 2–certified Barnstormer team member\, this guided walking tour provides a thoughtful\, hands-on exploration of our estate vineyard and the decisions that shape each vintage. \nTours run every Friday beginning May 22nd\, with the final tour taking place on September 4th. The experience begins at our outdoor Hangar Bar\, where guests will be welcomed before heading into the vineyard with a knowledgeable winery team member. As you move through the vineyard blocks\, you’ll learn about grape varieties\, vine balance\, seasonal vineyard work\, and how site-specific factors like soil\, slope\, and climate influence the wines we produce here in the Finger Lakes. \nAlong the way\, you’ll taste seven Barnstormer wines\, including single-vineyard selections that highlight the direct connection between the vineyard and the glass. These guided tastings are designed to deepen your understanding of varietal expression\, vintage variation\, and Barnstormer’s approach to winemaking. \nLight bites and locally sourced tapas will be served during the tour to complement the wines and enhance the tasting experience. \nTo maintain an intimate\, educational environment\, tours are limited to 14 guests. Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged. Tours will run from 1PM – 3PM. The first hour will focus on the vineyard education\, sampling wines paired with light bites and tapas. Settle in for the second hour with a glass of wine\, continuing the discussion with our Barnstormer team member at our Hangar Bar. There will be plenty of time to browse the winery\, purchase bottles and do a deep dive into our Aviator’s Wine Club offerings. Lakeside Trolley guests can stay for one or two trolley loops (each loop is around an hour)\, if you wanted to stay for a duration of the vineyard tour\, or for the full experience. \nPricing \n$49 per person (Regular Ticket Price) \n$39 per person (Lakeside Trolley guests and Barnstormer Wine Club Members) \nThis is a fully outdoor walking tour\, so we recommend wearing comfortable\, closed-toe walking shoes and dressing for the weather\, including appropriate layers. Tours will run rain or shine\, adjusting our educational approach based on what the weather allows us to do.
