DESCRIPTION:Barnstormer Winery: Winemaker Tour & Tasting Experience \nSaturdays at 11AM. May – September. \nTake a tour and taste with Marc Peterson\, Assistant Winemaker of Barnstormer Winery. These Saturday tours begin at 11AM and run approximately 1.5 hours. We will be capping these tours at 12 people total to keep the experience intimate. You may reserve as many spots as you would like\, or make the tour entirely private by booking all 12 spots for your group. We will be running these tours once a day each Saturday at 11AM from May until September with certain exceptions. \nThe first 30 minutes will be a tour of the facility\, wine production and newly planted estate vineyard (weather dependent) with a focus on our history\, wine production style and education about the past and future of the Finger Lakes Wine Region. You will taste two wines during this part of the tour. \nThe remainder of the tour will focus on tasting through a flight of five Barnstormer wines\, including limited releases and reserves that are usually only allocated to our Wine Clubs. Marc will personally guide you through each wine. This portion will include a shared “farmers” board of local cheeses and crackers to pair with the wines. \nCome join us on our new and educational Winemaker Tour & Tasting Experience. \n$24/pp + tax. We do require payment in advance. You may cancel up to two weeks prior for a full refund. Any cancellation within two weeks is a 50% refund. Private groups can now request to book a two hour private tour & tasting with the Proprietor\, Scott Bronstein or Tasting Room Manager\, Della Hovanec. You can request the time of day and we will only be running only one group per Sunday! Minimum number of people to book is 2 and maximum is 8. \nThe first 45 minutes will be a tour of the facility\, wine production and newly planted estate vineyard (weather dependent) with a focus on our history\, wine production style and education about the history and future of the Finger Lakes Wine Region. \nThe remainder of the tour will focus around tasting through a flight of our wines including limited releases\, library wines and barrel tastings of some of our favorite wines to be released in the near future. We will expertly pair this portion with locally sourced\, seasonal ingredients such as cheeses\, charcuterie\, pickles & spreads\, locally baked goods and more. Each season we collaborate with local chefs to ensure a great culinary experience. \nCome join our new highly educational\, personalized VIP wine tasting experience. \n$65/pp plus tax for up to 8 guests. We do require payment in advance. You may cancel up to two weeks prior for a full refund. Any cancellation within two weeks is a 50% refund. Any cancellation within 72 hours is not refunded.\nStart time of your choice on Sunday’s between 11am and 330pm and will last around two hours in total.\nAll Wine Club Member’s get $10 per tasting for each of their guests.
