This winter, we invite you to beat the winter blues and warm up with us in our cozy lounge by the fire for an intimate and immersive tasting experience led by our winemaker, Perry Hicks.
Designed for those who want to go beyond the tasting bar, this exclusive experience offers a rare opportunity to dive deep into the heart of Barnstormer wines. Perry will personally guide you through a hand-selected lineup of eight wines, thoughtfully chosen to showcase both past and present vintages. This journey through time highlights how our wines evolve, revealing the nuances that vintage, vineyard, and winemaking decisions bring to each bottle. Along the way, she will share insights, stories, and perhaps even a few surprises that aren’t available anywhere else.
The setting is just as intentional as the wines themselves. Tastings take place in our lounge by the fireplace, where warmth, comfort, and conversation set the tone. Group sizes are kept intentionally small, allowing for meaningful interaction with Perry and the chance to ask questions, share observations, and truly immerse yourself in the experience. Whether you’re a longtime Barnstormer fan or newly discovering our wines, this is a rare chance to gain firsthand access to the winemaker and her philosophy.
Each ticket includes more than just the wine. To complement your tasting, you’ll enjoy a beautifully curated pairing board of locally sourced cheeses and charcuterie, designed to be shared per couple or per two guests. These local flavors enhance the wines and deepen your connection to the Finger Lakes region—supporting the artisans and producers that make our community so special.
Pricing for the experience is $49 per person for wine club members and $59 per person for non-club guests. Each ticket includes a tasting of exclusive Barnstormer wines, a shared pairing board of local cheeses and charcuterie, and reserved access to our lounge by the fireplace. Tastings are intentionally limited in size, allowing guests to engage directly with Perry and gain deeper insight into her winemaking approach.
Each tasting runs from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm and is offered on the last two Fridays of January, February, and March. Available dates include January 23rd and 30th, February 20th and 27th, and March 20th and 27th.
