“I’m Lou DiPietro, and I play out and make records as Louiston, a mostly solo-acoustic singer-songwriter with influences that span genres and eras, from punk and indie to americana and classic country. A writer, performer and producer, I draw from and celebrate the DIY ethos and blue-collar scrappiness rooted in my WNY upbringing. Today, I live in Trumansburg, NY, just outside of Ithaca.
